The table describes how the students in McGill University ranked their university in terms of five different aspects between the years 2005 and 2015 at 5-year intervals.
Overall, students reported in the survey that, all of the categories increased, with the exception of range of modules, which witnessed considerable drop. Of a particular note, sports and social facilities remained static in all intervals.
In 2005, Library and resources ranked first by students with 86%, which followed by teaching quality who stood at 74%. While the proportions for other two categories; sports and social facilities and student service is average with corresponding figures of 65% and 54%, the category of range of modules offered were worth only 39%.
By 2010, Teaching quality as well as range of modules offered experienced a slight decrease by 2% and 8% respectively (72 and 31). In contrast, library resources soared by 2% reaching to 88% followed by sport and social facilities, which kept the balance at 65%. Student service, on the other hand, was by far the most improved category with 81%, 27% better than the initial timeframe.
Finally, in 2015, all of the categories witnessed considerable changes with student service that went up with biggest alterations in all intervals, starting with 54% and ending with 95%. Similarly, library resources and teaching quality saw negligible changes of around 4%. While sports and social activities experienced no changes standing at 65%, range of modules offered dropped significantly from 39% in the initial year to roughly 25% by 2015
