The table illustrates the different percentages of water consumption in different countries based on household, industries and agriculture consumption.
We can see that egyptian agriculture consumes a big amount of water (86%) followed by industry and household usage at a similar pace (7%). Saudi Arabia on its side shows a bigger water consumption in households(23%) compared to industries (10%), But still, agriculture takes a big part of water 67%. However, in New Zealand, It s totally the opposite, industry water usage is marked at 46%, strictly higher than household water consumption valued at 10%. With a big lack in usage of water on agriculture, with a 44% value. Australia shows some stability between water consumption in households and industries ( 12 and 18 percent) with a big emphasis on agriculture usage.
In conclusion, countries with a hotter and more desertific weather tend to have more water consumption on the agricultural side,whereas countries like New zealand emphasize more on it s usage in industries.
