The table presents data about top ten countries which have the biggest populations in 2019 with predictions for 2100.
Overall, China and India occupy the majority of all humanity, and it is projected that it will remain the same. While, population in almost all other countries will decline.
As it can be seen from the table, China and India had tremendously large population of 1,439 and 1,380 million, respectively. Whilst, in 2100, it is expected that rates will decrease for the former one to about 940 million, while enormously rising in India, up to 1,551 million. Not only did two previously mentioned countries occupied the majority of world’s population, but also Nigeria will have an immense number of about 730 million of people.
The remaining countries had rates half as small as latter discussed ones. The United States of America were at third place in 2019, right after India, and had indexes of about 330 million people. Moreover, it is predicted that their rates will only increase up to 478 million, in 2100. However, will be surpassed by Nigeria. Countries, such as Indonesia and Pakistan will rise, but will decrease in terms of their place in rating.
