Meanwhile, the proportion of water was used for industry in Saudi Arabia comprised 30%, which was three times as much as that in Egypt, just 10%. Additionally, the figures for domestic use in Egypt and Saudi Arabia were 8% and 6% respectively.
The utilization water for domestic use in Canada comprised 20%, while that in New Zealand constituted only half as much, about 10%. Similarly, the figure for industrial activities in Canada was significantly higher than that in New Zealand with 70% and 46% respectively. By contrast, the percentage of water use that New Zealand consumed for agriculture represented 44%, compared to Canada with just 10%.
