Overall, agriculture is used the most water in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, while it can be seen that the figures for industry are the highest in New Zealand and Canada. In addition, the water consumption is the lowest of all countries except Canada.
Regarding Egypt, about 83% of water is spent on agriculture, compared to around 64% in Saudi Arabia. The figures for industry are 10%, 30% in Egypt and Saudi Arabia respectively. The amount of water usage of households is the lowest, at around 10% in both countries Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
In terms of New Zealand and Canada, the figures for industry are the highest, at 46% and 70% in order that, followed by 44% and 10% in agriculture respectively. Domestic consumption is 20% in the water of Canada, doubling that of New Zealand.
