The table illustrates the consumption of water of four countries based on three section : Domestic use, Industry and Agriculture. Overall, it is evident that Agriculture is the category that is allocated the highest amount of water, while Domestic use is recorded as the lowest.
In terms of Domestic use, Canada spends the highest percentage across four countries, at 20%. New Zealand water consumption for this purpose is half of Canada, 10%, while Saudi Arabia is the lowest, only 6%. In contrast, regarding Agriculture, Egypt and Saudi Arabia water use rise to more than ten times, 82% and 64% respectively, whereas Canada decreases with only 10%.
Turning to the Industry, it is recorded that New Zealand and Canada contribute the most of water for this field, at 46% and 70%. While Egypt uses the least for this category, only 10%, Saudi Arabia consumes three times more, at 30%.
