Overall, public service ads recorded the highest time in the average length of Youtube ads and time viewed. In contrast, pharmaceutical was the lowest in Youtube video advertisements. Whereas the average time viewed of lifestyle was the least popular compared to others.
Regarding the advertisements over 30 seconds, public services had the highest second in both standards (66.7s and 28.1s). Business and finance scope was followed by (35.1s Youtube ads and 24.6s time viewed). While the average length of Youtube ads of entertainment area was lower than business (30.8s), it was higher in time viewed, reaching 26.5s. Technology and lifestyle showed a similar trend, with 39.3s and 33.7s Youtube videos, peaking 20.9s and 14.3s in time viewed, respectively.
Turning to the ads under 30 seconds, the advertisements of travel on Youtube accounted roughly 28.7s with 23s time viewed. Retail ads showed the average time in both standards (26.5s and 20.1s). However, consumer electronic, clothing, pharmaceutical, and lifestyle showed the average time viewed under 20s (17.3s, 16.6s, 16s, and 14.3s, respectively). In contrast with the length of Youtube videos, these fields fluctuated roughly from 34s to 25s.
