In 2010, France maintained its position at the top, with its number of visitors remaining unchanged at 76 million. The US and Spain saw slight increases in the number of people visiting with 67 and 56 million, respectively, whereas the UK experienced a growth, reaching 57 million tourists. The number of international tourists in both Italy and Turkey rose to 45 million each. Although the number of international tourist arrivals in China and Germany increased significantly to 34 and 23 million, respectively, they retained the lowest figures.
