The table indicates the proportion of British visitors to Spain from different age groups over a 20-year period, starting from 1985.
Overall, it is evident that there was an increase in the share of British people who’s age was 0-15, 16-24, and over 55 years old traveled to Spain, with the share of 16-24 years old traveler witnessing the most dramatic rise, while those of 25-35, and 36-45 consistently declined throughout the period. Despite decreasing, the figure for 25-35 years old visitors was the highest In both years surveyed.
As can be seen from the chart, the percentage of teenagers traveling started at 4% in 1985, after which it experienced a significant incease of 11% in 2015. Similarly, 10% and 16% was the figure for 0-15 and over 55 age groups at the beginning , before moderately urging to 12% and 25% in the final year, respectively.
Turning to the remain categories, the proportion of visitors from 25-35 age group was recorded at a half in 1985 and then descended to 32% in 2005. Finally, the figure for 36-45 years old accounted for 22% in the first year and decreased significantly to 12% in 2005.
