Generally, it is evident that Slovenia spent more money on education than other countries. Meanwhile, young participants in Poland made up the highest percentage.
In 2012, 25% of the government budget in Slovenia was paid for education, which was the highest proportion among the five nations. Conversely, the expenditure percentage in Poland was lowest at 5%. The expenditure rate in the Czech Republic and Romania was quite similar at 9% and 10% respectively, while the figure for Hungary was a little higher at 13%.
Regarding participation rate, 44% of the young generation in Poland got involved in the training, compared to only 23% of Romanian ones. The percentage of people taking part in educational courses in Slovema was 40%, which was 6% higher than the figure in Hungary. The participants in the Czech Republic account for 20% of the total young population.
