The table compares the proportion of government expenditure on education and training programs with the participant rests of 18- 24 year olds across five different countries over the period of 2012.
Overall, it can be seen that Slovenia allocated the highest percentage of money to education and training. Additionally, regarding the participation rate, Poland was the leading country despite it lowest spending, while for Romania, it has the lowest figures.
With regard to the percentage of participation in Poland, accounting for 44% and only 5% of government spending on education and training. Likewise, approximately 40% the proportion of participation in Slovenia and the percentage of expenditure accounting for 25%.
On the other hand, the figure for the expenditure rate in Hungary and Romania was lightly lower, with 13% and 10% respectively. In contrast, the proportion of participation was higher in both countries, at 34% and 23% respectively. Meanwhile, Czech republic had lowest figure for expenditure, at only 9% and it accounting for 27% for the participation rate.
