The table provides information about 10 most famous languages learned by individuals whose mother tongue is English, at the UK centre for foreign language learning in single year 2020.
Overall, majority of students chose mandarin, while Japanese and Welsh were least selected by these pupils. Whereas, other languages were in competition with each other in smaller margins.
More than a quarter of women preferred mandarin while compared to man which was just 14%. A similar contrast could be seen in Arabic where 22% males and one tenth of female showed interest in it. Twice as many women as men chose to study French, whereas opposite to this, Welsh studies contributed double man than females 8% and 4%. Moreover, German was far more popular in women than men. Italian lingo where data presents a difference of 2%.
Spanish is the only language where both the genders in the table illustrated equal interest of 19%. Similarly, the selection of Japanese showed a very tiny difference of 1% when talking about men and women of this school. Lastly, Polish dialect was far more popular for women than men.
