The table provides key information about the proportion rating given by students for different criteria of a Chinese university in the years 2000, 2005, and 2010.
It is noticeable that print resources had by far the highest good rating in all 3 years. The figures for tech quality, print resources, and electronic resources went up through the years while the percentage of voting for range modules decreased.
In 2000, most students voted for print resources, 87%, which was higher than the percentages favoring tech quality and electronic resources by 24% and 42%, respectively. From 2000 to 2010, there were no changes in the voting rate for tech quality after 5 years, until it reached 69% in 2010. The highest proportion of voting was still the print resources, though it experienced a slight drop from 95% to 91% between 2005 and 2010. The most remarkable feature was the favorable rating of electronic resources, double higher in 2010 than 10 years ago.
The lowest favorable voting criterion was the range of modules, which accounted for 33% in 2000 and witnessed a gradual decline to 30% and 26% in 2005 and 2010, respectively. The voting percentage for building and teaching facilities remained unchanged throughout the years and persisted at 75%.
