Overall, the expenditures on donation by the USA were always the highest throughout the whole period. Meanwhile, there was a similar slight growth in the amount of money from both the European and other countries.

In 2006, the USA spent about 9.8 millions dollars, and the contribution kept rising to 17 million dollars before declining minimally to 16.7 millions dollars in 2009. Meanwhile, during the same period, there was a small increase in funds spent by both European and other regions, followed by a decrease of 0.3 millions dollars. As a consequence, the money allocated for donations in all developing nations grew to 20.3 , 4.1, and 3.7 millions dollars, respectively.

The same period observed an upward trend in the total amount of money spent by all countries. The total amount accounted for 15.7 millions dollars at first and increased considerably to 28.1 million dollars, with a decline of 0.9 millions in 2009.
