The table illustrates how much several export products were from 2009 and to 2010.
Overall, the export values of equipment, telecommunity, and metals increased at the period surveyed, while the opposite change was true for that of clothing and manufacturing products. Despite these changes, the overall values of export goods saw growth between the two years.
Looking first at the overall figure, there was an increase from 32 $HK billion to 38.4 $HK billion in the total values of products mentioned, making a slight change of 20%.
Moving on to the categories, which witnessed larger changes than the overall value, the export values of metals was about $2.3 HK billion in 2009, which was the lowest figure in the whole table, with a rise to $5.1 in the next year, marking the most significant change of 120%. Similarly, the figure for telecommunity products also experienced a considerable change, but for only 61%, from 7.9 to 12.7 $HK billion in the last year. Conversely, export manufactured products had the values of 5.5 $HK billion in 2009, followed by a decrease of 1.5 $HK billion, making a change of -27%.
Turning into the remaining categories, which saw smaller changes than the total values, while equipment undergone an increase of 13% in the export value, the figure for clothing items experienced a fall of -17%. Particularly, the respective figures were from 10.3 $HK billion to 11.6 $HK billion, and from 6 $HK billion to 5 $HK billion.
