The table above illustrates the level of usage of the internet among adults in one European country between 2006 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that while the percentage of adults using internet on a daily basis increases significantly throughout the years, groups of 3 times/month users and barely use experience a downward trend progressively.
In 2006, there is 36% of individuals who use internet in their daily life. The number gradually increases, reaching 45% two years later. Subsequently, this level of frequency reaches its peak at 72% of internet users in 2010. 15% of adults use the internet 3 times/month in both 2006 and 2007; nevertheless, the statistic decreases to 8%, finally remaining unchanged at 5% in 2010.
Adults who use the internet weekly experience an upward trend in the first three years, rising moderately from 15% to 25%. Ultimately, the figure reaches 29% in 2008. However, one year later, the frequency falls to 25% and finally 22% at the end of the period. 34% of individuals barely use the internet on a daily basis in the beginning of the period. Continually, it can be seen that the proportions of people choose to use decrease noticeably to 16% in 2008; this is followed by the condition of virtually no users at the end of the period.
