The table illustrates the outcome of a survey which asked 6800 Scottish adults about their attendance in various cultural activities in the past year.
Overall, it is noticeable that attendance of any performance such as dancing,singing, playing musical instruments and acting made up the bulk of total activities which had taken part, whereas participation in computer based was responsible for a far less percentage.
In terms of participants aged between 16 and 24, any visual arts and any performance were the most popular act, ranging between at 35% and at 30%, respectively, however, the figure of people who are interesting in any writing, was almost half of that of the proportion of any visual arts. Coming to individuals who chose undertaking any crafts,cultural puchases and computer based, they are similarly represented in table at 11%, at 11% and at 10%, respectively.
Interestingly, if we look the rates of categories in age range 25 and 44, namely, any performance,undertaking crafts,cultural purchases and visual arts, we can see they together accounted between 16% and 22%,whereas other remaining two pastime were just under 9%.
In addition,in aged ranging between 45-74, similarity is seen between writing and computer based pastimes,with the respective proportion standing at 5% for both, but other four categories were close each other, from 11% to 22%.
