The tables indicates the information on Fairtrade-labeled tea and pineapples sales in the years 2010 and 2015 in five different European countries.
Overall, the label attracted more customers in France and Austria. Whereas, the sales in other countries both regressed and progressed; however, the differences were not notable.
Fairtrade-labeled tea consumption saw tremendous increase by 800 percent in France, making it the highest growth out all of them. Similar rapid growth also occurred in Austria. Consumption doubled to 8 millions of euros in 5 years. Other countries underwent only slight changes. For instance, Norway’s difference was not even close to half a million.
Austria experienced excellent increase in pineapple sales too. Sales tripled to 48 millions, making it the highest number that is accomplished by the sales. France and Netherlands both went up by approximately 4 millions. Norway and Germany are the countries where sales stalled and the charts reflected minimal difference.
