The chart depicts the data on the amount of cocoa beans and coffee sold in five distinct European states in the years 2000 and 2005. Overall, in all the countries, sales of both cocoa beans and coffee increased approximately twofold in the year 2005 as compared to 2000.
In 2000, the United Kingdom sold cocoa beans worth 13.6 million euros, but the amount doubled in 2005 and stands at 27.3 million. The same can be seen for other countries like Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, which had values of 2.6 million, 4.6 million, 2.4 million, and 0.9 million, respectively. They shared the same pattern as the United Kingdom, and the amount of cocoa beans sold doubled the value in 2005.
The trend of coffee is exactly similar. Regardless of the amount of money they made in 2000, all the states shared the same statistics, which were a 100% increase. To specify, Switzerland, which made the least revenue, also faced a double increase. We saw a dramatic increase, from making 7.5 million euros in 2000 to making 14.9 million euros. The other 4 also followed the same path. Irrespective of who made more of less money, every single country made two times more money in 2005 in contrast to 2000.
