Overall, it is clear that education and healthcare were the highly ranked aspects of city in both years, while transport received the least positive opinions. Additionally, the public satisfaction decreased in all aspects, with the exception of education and employment, experiencing rose of that.
In 1980, healthcare was the most popular aspect, with 82% of people saying it was good. Education and environment both had 72% positive responses. Shops and employment were also rated positively by 64% and 62% of people. However, transport had the lowest figure at 52%. Also, transport had the highest percentage of bad opinions (32%), while education had the lowest at only 5%.
In 2010, education became the highest rated aspect, as 82% of people thought it was good, while employment increased to 72%. However, the percentages for healthcare, environment, shops and transport were decreased to 74%, 71%, 60% and 39% respectively. The number of people who think these aspects were bad also increased. The biggest rise was in transport, from 32% to 38%, and employment, which went up from 16% to 23%.
