The given two tables illustrate the percentages of satisfaction in different aspects which were given to citizens in 1980 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the figures for healthcare, education and environment were the highest ones, whereas transport’s results of satisfaction were lower than other five sectors in the given period.
In 1980, the proportions of highly satisfied fractions such as healthcare, education and environment were dominant with 82%, twice 72%, respectively. These proportions were followed by merely under 10% of people who considered them as bad ones, whereas 32% of them chose the transport system which represented over 50% of responders who were satisfied. Additionally, the figures for shops and employment stood at average percentages such as over 60% in good, under 25% in neither good and bad, 12% and 10% in bad, respectively.
In 2010, dominant sections including education, healthcare and environment remained in the highest point, though the percentage of healthcare was replaced by the figure for education with 74% and 82%, respectively. By contrast, the percebatge of people who thought the environment was terrible increased from 6% to 16%, following 23% of dissatisfied people in employment which rose by 13%. Meanwhile, approval to the transport decreased to 38%, where a similar proportion of people ranked it as bad. Finally, the figures of approval for shops and environment both remained relatively unchanged.
