Overall, it is obvious that most British people tend to drive their own cars and the number of it has increasing trend throughout the periods. On the other hand, the least used of vehicles in The UK is recreational vehicles.
As can be seen from these three pie charts, most British people prefer to drive cars by 40% in the first period which has significant increase by 20% in the end of the periods. The figure on the use of public transport has slightly difference from 1965 to 2005 between 20% to 25%.
In the first twenty years, the proportion of trucks and other business vehicles have no change by 20%, but it go down to 10% in the latter 20 years. In the forty-year period, we can see that the British people are not keen on going camping, the percentage of recreational vehicles is between 15% and 5%.
