The two maps illustrate the main development which took place in a town called Dalton between 1815 to 2015.
It is clear that the two picture had recorded a significant change with the contraction of the Dalton forest in both the river which leading to river Dal to build the new facilities to serve for life. Additionally, the line road were expanded to connect the different areas , and there was a construction of a bridge on the long river.
Looking at the left river side, in 1815, there was a large Dalton forest and the ford area. However, after 200 years old, the trees were cut down to construct the houses , a hospital on the top side, and the a industrial zone, the factories in the opposite side.
Turning to the right river side, the ford was replaced by the bridge. Besides, the houses were enlarged , there was a relocation of Dalton hall and farm hall to become the hotel and the school. Nearly river Dal was from bridleway to airport.
