The maps illustrate the differences between 1986 and the present day in a town in Denmark.
Overall, both maps demonstrate most houses are being built as farmland, gardens, and other recreational areas being knocked down to improve the facilities of the town.
In 1986, going up to the north, there was farmland in the northwest, while on the opposite side gardens and houses. Going higher up, primary schools and farmland can be seen on the northeast while the opposite side has shops, post offices, and homes. They are all connected by a bridge, way up north.
However, the map of the present day dramatically changed. Going up, the farmland was changed into houses while instead of gardens, there were more large houses. The shops were also changed into homes for the residents. Looking to the northeast, opposite to the homes, that were built to the places of shops, farmland was turned into more houses.
