The image contains two maps of the coastal town of Pentland for 1950 and 2007. The 1950 map shows a central north-south road with an industrial area and grassland to the west, and a car park and grassland to the east, with the sea to the north. The 2007 map shows the same road layout with a park, swimming pool, multi-story car park, and cinema to the west, and apartments, shops, and houses to the east; the sea to the north contains a yacht marina.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The state of the coastal town of Pentlad in 1950 and 2007 is shown on the illustrations. Overall, only the road and the sea remained the same, while other objects were replaced.
Starting from the southwest side of the town, the grassland was turned into cinema, shops and multi story car park. Moving to north, the swimming pool and park replaced the industrial area. In the central part of the top the sea was kept, but the yacht marina was added next to that.
Now moving from northeast to southwest, car park was replaced by apartments. In the right bottom of the maps, we can see that shops and houses replaced the grassland.
