The two maps illustrate a comparison of a village called Bunborough’s recent infrastructure and the proposed plan for the development of its area.
Overall, it is evident that apart from constructed roads for transportation, the railway lines will also be implemented in the site by 2024. It is also worth noticing that today’s fishing port will be replaced with promenade according to the plan, and a hotel will be built near the beach.
Looking at the details, the road links Lynwich and Maychester in present days will remain unchanged in the proposed plan which will be finished by Autumn 2024. However, a new transport method which is railway system will be constructed from along the south of the village to the north-east of the site.
Another striking feature is the replacement of some sites and newly-built buildings in the scheme. Nowadays, there are houses above and opposite side of the branching off road from the main one. In the proposed plan, as the existence of the railway, all of the houses will change to the above side of the road. Additionally, the fishing port will be demolished and re-built as the promenade. Near the beach, two hotels will be constructed in 2024 which haven’t situated in these days.
