The two maps outline how Bunborough Village will transform in the year 2024. Overall, the transportation system will be upgraded with more types of vehicles, and some changes in the residential area and economy of this area.
By Autumn 2024, a new train line will have been constructed from Manchester to Lynwich, with its main station located on the outskirts of the village. There will also be a new branch road from Lynwich that connects the one in Manchester. Although the shopping area remains untouched in the proposed plans, some houses near this area will be demolished and relocated around the railway line. The number of housing will not greatly change in the year 2024.
The source of income of Bunborough’s villagers appears to be fishing at the present. However, by 2024, they will earn a living by doing tourism-related jobs, as the fishing port will be destroyed and replaced by a new promenade. The seafront area remain intact in the future, while a new hotel will be built on the other side of the beach.
