The maps depict the outskirts of the town Fosbury in 1980 and 2015, and the urban development that took place.
Overall, new industrial and commercial features were added, while recreational and residential facilities were renovated.
The most noticeable (prominent) change was a roundabout in the center of the town, replacing the intersection that connected roads to all directions. In addition, a new industrial and commercial features were also added: The empty fields in the southeastern were converted into warehouses, a new industrial facility in the town. In the north eastern corner, block of flats, Grocer’s Shop and terraced houses were demolished and a supermarket with car park facing the hotel along the road leading north was built.
There were also extensive renovation to the recreational and residential facilities in the town. In the northwestern corner, terraced houses were built in the place where used to be the park, and the park was relocated on the right side of terraced houses. In southwestern corner, tennis courts were upgraded to a sports center with a car park.
