The two diagram maps out till Tilden International Airport and its surrounding area in the years 1985 and 2015. By comparing the to diagram we can observe the changes that occurred in the are in the year between 1985 and 2015.
From the second diagram, which shows the layout of the Tilden International Airport and surrounding area in 2015, we can see that the Airport has expanded in the last 30 years. the International Terminal was expanded and a new runway was built. Both of this new construction was done in parts of the land which was previously Johnson’s Farm. In the remaining land of Johnson’s a Business Park and a Housing Estate have been constructed. Moreover, a Bus and light rail station was built in the place where airport support service where previously provided. Furthermore, in the place where previously the factories were situated and you place for support service were build along with a hotel and conference center.
By comparing the two diagram, we can observe the changes that happened in the area in 30 years. There are many more building than before, in the area and the airport have also expanded a lot.
