The pie charts compare the proportions of employment patterns for both sexes in Great Britain during 1992. Overall, it is noticeable that the least popular pattern was general labourers jobs for women and men respectively.
To begin, clerical-related jobs represent the largest proportion for females at just under a third, while for men it is well under one-tenth. Additionally, males are more likely to be interested in managerial and professional jobs which is at 36% and other manual pattern is the second most popular occupation for them which is ten times smaller than managerial and professional jobs.
Besides, not as many women as men do craft-related work, for men it is almost a quarter, while for women it only shows 3%. The percentage of manual employment category for women which is at 27% is almost similar to the proportion for men. Ultimately, both genders do not seem to be interested in having non-manual positions, where it only has 6% for males and almost one-tenth for females.
