The two pie charts above illustrate the civil status of the citizens of Australia and Canada. At first glance, most of the citizens from both countries are married, whether they live together or not.
In Canada, 53 percent of individuals are not living with their legal partner, whereas 29 percent of them are married, and living together. Single people and widow people have the same percentage, which is seven. Three percent of individuals are married to the same gender. Additionally, divorced people have the lowest percentage which is one.
In Australia, 46 percent of citizens are married and stay together. On the other hand, 41 percent of them do not live in the same home even if they are still married. The widow citizens are six percent of the country’s population. Unmarried citizens are five percent. The divorced individual’s percentage is two, which is the smallest for this population.
