The data presented below gives information how much the different sectors in Turkey have impacted in the growth of the Gross domestic production (GDP), over a period of 6 years. Overall, Agriculture contributed the most in 2010 while, construction influenced the least. This was in contrast with 2016 where Healthcare and Education, and Government had the most and least percentages respectively.
Agriculture had the highest fraction of about 24% in the year 2000, this fell by 10% in 2016. Healthcare and Education proportion remained stable in both years. Government and Leisure and hospitality had 12% and 17% respectively, this values both decreased by 3% in 2016. There was a difference of 3% in Finance, Business and Others between both year – although, 2016 recorded the highest of 8% in the sector.
There was a negligible 2% change in Trade, Utilities and Transportation domain in 2016 as compared to 2010 which showed an improvement.
Manufacturing also climbed by 4% in 2016; this is better when in comparison with the 8% recorded six years earlier.
