Overall, people spend most money on food in 1920, but in 2000 they spend less on food and more for other things like recreation and travelling.

In 1920, food was biggest part of spending, about 72%. Other things like fuel and light was 6.6%, and recreation only 7.7%. Spending on housing, clothing and education was very small.

In 2000, situation change a lot. Food go down to 21.8%, and recreation and other items become the biggest part with 34.2%. People also spend more on travelling and communication, it go up to 14.3%. Spending on other things like education, clothing and housing also become higher than before.

In 1920 people spend money mostly for food, but in 2000 they spend more on comfort and entertainments.
