Dear Sir,

I am writing to bring to your attention a severe and urgent road safety issue on Al-Ghubra street. Over the past few weeks, there have been several serious traffic accidents in this immediate vicinity raising significant concerns among the local residents regarding our daily safety.

The primary reason this area has become highly dangerous is lack of proper traffic calming measures. currently, drivers tend to speed excessively as they use this road as a shortcut to bypass the main highway. Furthermore, the absence of marked pedestrian crossing and adequate street lightning creates severe visibility issues, especially during the evening hours when many residents and children are walking in the area.

To prevwnt further tragedies, I strongly urge the transport authority to consider introducing, physical speed bumps at strategic intervals to force motorists to slow down. Secondly, clearly marked zebra crossing, complete with flashing warning beacons. Lastly, I would request you to repair or upgrade the current lighting network to illuminate the road fully at night.
