Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing in response to your complaint regarding the noise coming from my apartment over the past few days.

Recently, my cousin came from India to visit me, and we have been moving furniture and arranging the apartment to make space for him. Unfortunately, this created more noise than I expected, especially during the evening hours.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disturbance caused to you and your family. I understand that excessive noise can be frustrating, particularly after a long working day.

To solve this issue, I will make sure that all remaining work is completed during daytime hours only. Additionally, I will keep the volume low and avoid any loud activities at night. I have also informed my cousin to be more careful and respectful of the neighbours.
