Overall, non-European destinations like Thailand and Bali were more favored than European ones such as Spain and Paris. Thailand topped the list of choices, followed by Bali, while The Lake District was at the bottom.
Thailand secured the first place with 1410 votes from the couples surveyed. Close behind was Bali, garnering 1335 votes. The Maldives and Costa Rica also proved popular, receiving 600 and 750 votes respectively, differing by just 150 votes.
European destinations did not fare as well. Among these, the Greek Islands attracted the most interest with 432 votes, surpassing Spain’s 140 and Paris’ 209. Finally, the Lake District was the least favored, with only 124 couples opting for it.
