The diagram shows the humanised process of an enterprise for distribution of natural gas to the customers.
The process starts with storing gas in the main underground storage and ends with delivering the gas with delivery trucks to the retail customers. Since production from gas and oil wells the system includes a total of 9 steps to reach the final consumers.
Looking at the graph carefully shows that, produced gas from oil & gas well is stored in the main underground storage after processing in the refinery and gas plant. Imported gas is also stored therewith. Then the gas is transmitted to regional storage through pipelines. At next, 40 kilo leter tankers and wagons with half the capacity of tankers are utilised to transfer the gas to the retail storage. The 120 kilo leter retail storage is the final stoppage for the gas, after this the gas is delivered directly to the customers using delivery trucks.
Finally, the diagram provides with a clear view of how the natural gas originated underground gets to its users.
