The image displays two maps labeled "Before" and "After" depicting changes to an island. The "Before" map shows an elongated island surrounded by sea, covered with sporadic palm trees and a beach area marked on the southwest end; no buildings or infrastructure are visible. The "After" map includes additional features: several buildings labeled as Accommodation, a Restaurant and a Reception at the center. There are also two piers extending into the sea, marked with blue symbols, and an array of umbrellas or similar structures near the beach. Pathways are outlined, distinguishing between footpaths (dashed lines) and vehicle tracks (dotted lines). The scale on both maps marks 100m for comparative size reference. A compass indicating north (N) is towards the upper right of each map.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

Both maps display an island, before and after it was developed for tourism.
The island is long and thin, is surrounded by ocean and has a beach to the west. Over the period, the island was completely transformed with the addition of a hotel and a pier; however, the eastern part of the island appears to have been left undeveloped.
The most noticeable additions are the hotel rooms. Six buildings, surrounding some trees, have been built in the west of the island and nine buildings have been constructed in the centre of the island. Between the two accommodation areas, a reception building and a restaurant has been developed.
A pier has also been built on the south coast of the island, allowing yachts access to the resort. Apart from the trees, the beach remains the only natural feature to remain relatively untouched; however it does appear that it is now used for swimming.
