Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you that I accidentally left a very important item on board my recent flight with your airline. My flight was from Dubai to London on 27th August 2025, Flight Number EK205.

The item I misplaced is my black leather briefcase, which contains my work laptop and several confidential documents related to an international business conference. This briefcase is of great significance to me because the laptop holds essential files for presentations I am due to deliver next week. Losing it would not only disrupt my professional commitments but could also lead to serious setbacks for my company.

I kindly request that your lost-and-found department check the aircraft, particularly the overhead compartment above seat 14A, where I believe I left the briefcase. If it is located, I would greatly appreciate it if the airline could arrange to have it securely delivered to my hotel in London, or alternatively, I am willing to collect it from the nearest office at your convenience.
