Dear Sir,
I am Patel Janvi, a resident of Vadodara, writing this letter concerning over your decision of replacing library with a supermarket. I acquired this news in the morning, while browsing through the newspaper named Gujarat Samachar and was shocked. Besides, one of my friends, who had been working as a civil engineer, informed me that he had to complete it within a certain time period. So, I got assured about this decision.
Furthermore, town is already very congested with few supermarkets, people do not need supermarket and constructing one more supermarket can cause more congestion. Currently, library is surrounded with plethora of trees, which is house for several birds and animals and this will destroy place’s natural beauty.
The library in our area is a big asset for the people and has been here for the past 50 years now. The elderly people of our community enjoy sitting and reading newspapers, and the children often go there to find matter for their school assignments. So, I urge you to please reconsider your plan and drop the idea of a supermarket. People need the library more than anything else. Hoping for prompt consideration of this urgent request!
Yours faithfully,
Janvi Patel
