The process represtents the production of olive oil. Overall, the production of olive oil consists of seven main steps, beginning with picking olives from trees and ending with the storage and sale of the final product.
At the first stage, olives are picked by hand and collected into baskets. They are then rinsed with cold water to remove a dirt. After that, the clean olives are transported by a conveyor belt to a machine, where they are smashed. As a result, two products are produced: olive paste and olive stones. The stones are removed, while the paste is processed further.
The olive paste is placed into bags with small holes and transferred to a pressing machine. This stage extracts the liquid from the paste. Afterwards, the extracted liquid goes through a separating process, where water is removed from the oil. Finally, the finished olive oil is stored before being distributed to shops for sale.
