Overall, the trend shows that North America had the highest protein and calorie consumption among the mentioned regions, Followed by Latin America, then East Africa, In contrast, India had the lowest protein and calorie intakes.
Regarding the average protein intake, North America ranked first, its average protein intake was 80 divided as 62 units from animal protein and 18 units from other proteins. Next, was Latin America with an average intake of 45, 32 units from the consumption derived from animal protein, and the remaining 13 units were from other proteins, East Africa shared a small average of only 31 average intakes, divided almost equally between animal and other protein forms, with 1 unit more in favor to animal protein, India average was 3 units less than East Africa due to the decrease of the animal intake to share 13 unit only.
Regarding the average calorie intake, North America pioneered, sharing by around 3500 units. Followed by Latin America with a consumption of just less than 3000 units, East Africa was the third among the other regions with just above 2000 units average consumption. Meanwhile, India had the lowest average calorie intake with only 2000 units.
