The chart and table illustrate the result of a survey of library consumers at a university including categories and satisfaction of users.
Overall, it is clear that full-time undergraduates were the dominant group of library users. Moreover, the staff was the most group perceived positive feedback, while journals and wi-fi attracted the most dissatisfaction.
In terms of categories of library consumers, 44% of library visitors were full-time undergraduates, which made up the largest single share, while the figure of full-time postgraduates was half of that of visitors of full-time undergraduate students. Moreover, distance learning and academic staff formed a minority of our use base, with 8% and 7% respectively.
In the figure of user satisfaction, the helpfulness of staff accounted for the majority of positive feedback, which offered 95% of visitor satisfaction. Additionally, library opening hours attracted no negative responses, but fairly satisfied made up 35% of users. By contrast, journal and wi-fi recorded the highest dissatisfaction figure of visitors, which should be significantly enhanced to maintain satisfaction of users.
