Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in regards to a dinner that I had at your full-service restaurant.
For the past two weeks, I have been preparing a special party for my beloved nephew’s eighteenth birthday. Given the popularity of your restaurant on the local ranking board, I decided to book a meal in advance for last Sunday’s night through your manager with a view to a memorable dinner.
However, to my disappointment, the dining experience provided that evening was far below my expectations. In detail, not only was my order delayed for nearly one hour but the food was of substandard quality. Most importantly, the staff refused to assist me with these problems in a disrespectful way. As a result, my nephew’s special day ended with sole dissatisfaction, which was unworthy of the costly payment I have made.
Since the bad experience was caused by your poor preparation and customer service, I hope that you will compensate me for the cost of that meal.
I look forward to your response,
Yours faithfully,
Amane Shizu.
