Dear Mr. John,

Hope you’re doing well. I am writing to inform you that I have recently made an agreement with you to rent your flat. I was ready to move into the apartment on September 15th, but due to some unexpected family problems I would not be able to shift. I am expecting you to kindly allow me to shift in to your property on September 25th.

Officially, I have done all paperwork. Additionally signed the rental contract as well on 15th August. On agreement it is clearly mentioned that I agreed to move into your C4 house near Broadway Street. Also, paid six months rent in advance. As I mentioned earlier about family problem, my grandmother passed away last week and that made me to reconsider my decision as I really have to travel hometown to her funeral.

In total it would take around fifteen days including traveling and the ceremonies. So I request you to consider my tragic situation and allow me days till September 25th to move into the flat.

I am looking forward to hearing from your side.
