Dear Mr. Sean,
I am writing to request your permission to organize a small surprise birthday party for our colleague, Bahlil, in the office next month.
We would like to hold the brief celebration next Monday, June 12th. To ensure it does not interfere with our daily operations, we are planning to start the gathering at 4:30 PM in the staff breakroom, just as everyone is wrapping up their task for the week.
For the setup, we intend to keep the decorations simple and professional. We plan to hang a birthday banner and a few ballons in the breakroom during our lunch hour so Bahlil will not notice. Regarding the food, the team has agreed to order some pizzas and french fries, and we will bringing some beers for the beverage.
I trully believe this celebration will be highly beneficial for the team’s morale. Everyone has been working exceptionally hard over the past month to meet our recent project deadlines. Taking a short time to celebrate Bahlil’s birthday will be a great opportunity for the team to bound, reconnect and feel appreciated for their creative hard work.
Please let me know if you approve of this plan or if you have any concerns regarding the arrangements.
Your sincerely,
Adzkia Nurul Huda
