Dear John,

Hope you are doing well and enjoying your job. I’m just writing to let you know that I will be visiting Montreal next week and plan to stay over weekend.

After we graduated, we haven’t been in-touch recently so I would like to give you quick glimpse of what happened. I joined a local company called Geotab where I’m working as an Embedded developer since 2 years. It was hard time for me securing this job after being unemployed for 4 months due to my knee surgery.

But I have an amazing news for you, I along with my colleague are launching a startup company next week. We are going to make an hardware product that will be able to predict remaining life of an electric vehicle. We have been pitching our startup to plenty of investors and finally, one of them have agreed to meet us next week in Montreal.

Due to an emergency family issue, my co-founder won’t make it but I will arrive Montreal upcoming Friday. Most likely, my meetings with investors will wrap up by noon so I was thinking if we could visit some of our favorite spots in town. If not all, but at least I want to go to Mandarin restaurant which we used to visit every week during our university days. Let us recreate nostalgia memories.
