Dear Ms Darina,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to sincerely apologize for damaging your bicycle, which I borrowed yesterday. Unfortunately, I had a minor accident while riding it, and the bicycle was slightly damaged.
The front wheel is bent, and the brake lever on the right side is broken. Thankfully, there was no damage to the frame or gears. I feel truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
I have already spoken with a local repair shop and can have the necessary parts replaced right away. If you prefer, I am also willing to cover the full cost of repairs or replace the bicycle entirely, whichever you think is best.
Once again, I’m very sorry for this accident and for not returning the bicycle in the same condition you lent it to me. Please let me know how you would like me to proceed.
Sincerely,
Aiym
