Dear John,

I hope you are well. I would like to thank you for letting me use your lawnmower last week Friday when the sun was out . It was the perfect time to garden, wasn’t it? Your lawnmower came to my rescue.

However, I am sorry to inform you that the lawnmower broke down while I was using it. The lawnmower was working perfectly fine until it hit a stone in the garden. I have no excuse for this as I should have been a lot more careful and cautious. I deeply apologize for my lack of maintenance.

Be rest assured that I have ordered a replacement for this. To show you how sorry I am, I have bought the latest model to compensate you. I have submitted your details for delivery. You should receive it next week. I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer
