Dear Tim,
It’s been a while. How are you and the family? I hope you are all doing well and great.
Frirstly, I will like to tender and unreserved apology for my poor handling of the violin you borrowed me for the last concert that resulted into the breakage of the neck. I know the violin has been with you for over 2 decades and I understand as well the great emotional connection and attachement you have with it. Please find a place in your heart to forgive me.
I am under the heavy load of guilt and condemnation because I forgot the violin on the concert stage after the haloween concert that was held on the 3rd of November and did not remember to pick it up until the third day. The house keepers mistakenly stepped on it while they were preparing the stage for another concert that would come up the third day. I feel so bad because this was avoidable.
Tim, I would do everything to make it up to you by fixing it as perfectly as possible or replace it with a new one. I have immeidately taken it to the repairer to asses the level of damage and the posibility of fixing it. After the assesement, the level of the damage was not so serious, he also suggested that the neck could be completely replaced. I was particularly happy about this as it will restore the violin to the perfect concition it was before the damage.
Thank you so much Tim in anticicpation for your understanding on this. I will birng the Violin over by next weekend immediately it’s fixed.
Yours sincerely,
Kola
